    So, a new friend walked into my life on Friday afternoon. She left me her digits. I called her and hung out with she and her boyfriend that night. Awesome right?

    Anyways, we had been planning on checking out this punk bar called Sluggo's. It turns out, Sluggo's reminded us of The Sidebar of Baltimore. Fucking awesome. We loved it. I enjoyed a $1 can of Schlitz and a band called...Gringo Starr. They did have an early Monkeys sound to them. I don't think they're on Myspace yet.

    The other place we went to on Saturday night is called, The Handlebar. Lots of cool people and a very large open room with bar, pool table, jukebox and stage near downtown Pensacola. It reminded us of The Ottobar in Baltimore minus the upstairs. Everyone was so friendly and the band we listened to was Deadly Fists of Kung Fu (www.myspace.com/deadlyfistsofkungfu). They were fun.

    Sooooo...I think HT should do a "southern" tour starting at one of these spots (or both) and continue across to New Orleans. Whoo hoo! Just a thought...

    Kimmie, awesome idea, thank you so much for the information on the clubs! I've played the Sidebar once before a while back, and totally dug the vibe.

    Thank you for thinking of us, i have a list of venues outside of DC/MD/VA/NJ/DE/PA/NY that I hoping grows and grows, so when the time comes we'll know where to go...if they'll have us..

    The Stage where I can imagine Hello Tokyo belting the beats, making feet tap and bodies sway to and fro as Kat belts out, "Tune it up! Bodies moving to the radio!"

    still getting closer and closer...our new label "Right Hook Records" is working on getting us on an existing tour...a big one...that goes EVERYWHERE!! Including Florida!! whohohohohoho....i will let you know if we are confirmed...
